Call for proposals
Please send proposals to eacas.eu@gmail.com by October 31st 2025
Proposals should include:
- Justification of host
- Justification of location
- Planned structure of event (including number of papers, days)
- How the event will facilitate social interaction and networking
- How the event will specifically be ‘critical’ and address critical animal studies
- Possible theme of conference
- How the event will appeal to both academic and non-academic delegates
- Sustainable travel plan – how the event will seek to minimise flying
- A guarantee of 100% vegan catering (include catering ideas)
- How the event will be inclusive and accessible
- Communication plan (pre-event and how to maximise social or other media exposure during the event).
The conference will be held in either May or June 2027
